What Could Change
A new ParticiPARK could be built—an inclusive outdoor recreation space designed by Bienenstock Natural Playgrounds. Construction on the Old Ex Arena begins winter 2024/25, with park amenities following in summer 2025. The final design will reflect community feedback collected in 2022-2023.

What Happened
Public engagement occurred in summer 2022 with a community workshop and online survey. A ParticiPARK survey ran from September 21 to October 22, 2023. Bienenstock Natural Playgrounds developed a proposed design based on community feedback. The project is now in the final design phase, with construction on park amenities expected to begin summer 2025.
