Waterloo Street Reconstruction - Moore Ave to Roger Street
Official title: Waterloo Street reconstruction
The City of Waterloo is rebuilding Waterloo Street and part of Moore Avenue South. The project replaces aging watermains, sewers, sidewalks, curbs, and asphalt. Water and sanitary service connections to properties will also be replaced up to the property line.
Why This Matters
Live on Waterloo Street or Moore Avenue South? Your street is getting torn up. Expect construction disruptions, but you'll get new water lines and a fresh road. Your water and sewer connections to the property line are included at no extra cost to you.
What Could Change
The entire road structure will be replaced, including underground infrastructure. Construction will affect traffic and access for residents during the project. New watermains and sewers should improve reliability for decades.
