Help Design Woodward Hill Neighbourhood Park in South Newton
Official title: Woodward Hill Park Design
Surrey is designing a new 4.7-acre park at 144 Street & 62 Avenue in South Newton. Right now it's just undeveloped green space connecting two schools. The City wants to hear what neighbours need—play areas, nature spots, places to relax.
Why This Matters
Live in South Newton? This park will be in your neighbourhood. Got kids at Woodward Hill Elementary or Sullivan Heights Secondary? They already walk through this space. Now's your chance to shape what it becomes.
What Could Change
The City will use feedback to design the park layout. That could mean playgrounds, walking paths, seating areas, or natural spaces—depending on what residents ask for. Construction would follow the design phase.
Key Issues
- What amenities should the park include?
- How can the park serve residents of all ages and abilities?
- How should the park connect with nature?
