Montreal Airport Parking Lot Relocation and Office Building Construction

Official title: YUL Montreal-Trudeau International Airport - Relocation of Air Canada premises and of a dedicated parking space for airport operations

Closed Environmental Assessment Transportation
Montreal-Trudeau Airport wants to shuffle things around on its property. They're moving a parking lot for airport vehicles from the north side to the south side, building a new office building, and adding electric vehicle charging stations. This is all to keep things running smoothly while they expand the baggage handling area.

Why This Matters

This is mostly an internal airport operations project. If you work at the airport or live very close to the Dorval site, construction noise and traffic might affect you. The electric charging stations are a small step toward greener airport operations.

What Could Change

A 24,000 m² site on Stuart Graham Boulevard in Dorval will be reconfigured. A new office building goes up in the north area, the operations vehicle parking moves south, and electric charging infrastructure gets installed.

Key Issues

  • Should the parking lot relocation and office construction proceed as planned?
  • Are there environmental concerns with the site modifications?
