Help Shape the Future of Saskatoon's Nutana Corridor
Official title: Nutana Corridor Plan
Saskatoon is reimagining the Nutana Corridor—a busy street that could become more than just a road. The city wants to know what matters to you: better sidewalks, more housing, improved parks, or something else? This plan will guide development along the corridor for years to come.
Why This Matters
Live in or near Nutana? This plan will shape what gets built on your street. More housing could mean more neighbours—and more local shops. Better sidewalks and parks could make your daily walk safer and more pleasant. If you commute through the area, changes here affect your route too.
What Could Change
New zoning rules could allow taller buildings and more housing along the corridor. Street designs may be updated to prioritize pedestrians over cars. Parks and open spaces could get upgrades. The plan will also prepare the area for Saskatoon's future bus rapid transit system.
Key Issues
- What land uses should be allowed along the Nutana Corridor?
- How can streets be made more pleasant for pedestrians?
- What improvements are needed for parks and open spaces?
- What infrastructure upgrades are needed to support more people in the area?
